For the past few weeks room 1 has been doing visual mihis.
First we needed to draw our rivers,mountains, koru that represented our family and things we enjoy.
We had to draw it in pencil, in case we made any mistakes we could rub it out easily. After we were happy with the final product of the drawing we had to outline it in sharpie so the next step will be good so then we started dying. It was very fun because we got to play with colours and I could mix them.
did the symbols because i am a dancer and i thought that a boom box would represent that well,and the watermelon because that is my favourite food.
Next time I will put more effort in my work.
