Elfy the elf

 This morning we had to make a google drawing and create a picture of our own elf that you had to create.

I named mine Elfy,We also had to say our elfs traits and why Santa should hire our elfs.

Today i coloured in the self portrait with the monkey using the google art tool called Arts and Culture.

The reason why i chose to colour in this is because it really stood out to me when i was choosing what to draw today.

It was so much fun to colour this in.

advent art

It is advent and advent is this is four sundays before Christmas and Christmas is special because that is when Jesus was born.I chose mosaic art is when you draw something and stick paper to it,and i chose a sun because it symbols a hope of light ! this week in advent is hope.

The Mud Run !

 Today room 1 headed off to a mud run at South New Brighton Domain.

we started off waiting for our turn we were all so excited to start.

there were lots of other schools there and each school went one by one to start the mud run.

there were so much obstetrical´s there you had to climb tires and go under nets and go into river.

It was such an amazing experience although my elf suit was not too water proof !

1.why should we be sustainable ?

for the earth ,we need to save the earth before it is too late.

2.how we have shown that we are sustainable ?

we recycled the bottles and planted flowers which could have just been littered.

3.why should we help the environment ?

to save the earth before it is too late.

4.explain your process.

 first we got soda bottles and cut them to a good size  then we painted them and put plants in them and we are now waiting for them to grow !

First aid session

 Today room 1 had a fist aid session about about DRSABCD.

D-danger 

R-response 

S-send help

A-Airway 

B-Breathing 

C-C.P.R 

D-Defib

in a situation this is what you do.

1.look for danger,smell for danger make sure to look for at least 5 seconds.

2.response see if they are responding by using your back palm and banging their collar bone and seeing if they can hear you. 

3.send for help if they are not responding call 111. 

4.using two hands tilt the patients head backwards,to help clear air ways we do this so the tongue does not cover your airways.

5.now check their breathing,do not check their pulse.Put your ear on their mouth and your hand on their chest if they are not breathing care fully roll them on to their side and put their head up so they can vommit.

6.doing C.P.R put your knuckles around the fingers on the other hand.Then compressing the songs like baby shark and row row row your boat.Make sure you are going up and down and make sure not to move your hands.Make sure you are not sitting your knees are on the ground your hands are straight and you are going up and down 

7.a defib is what you need when youu are dealing with C.P.R it is a vital thing make sure you are listening carefully to the instructions,

Prayers of the rosary

Today Charlotte and i made a DLO about the rosary and the prayers that you say when you pray the rosary.Today  i only did the one decade,because it is the month of the rosary and we have been saying one decade of the rosary each day for prayer time.
